The decision has been made that at the end of March kingdom of riches, korclassic, rcclassic and wlaclassic will be closed down. After 6 years I think its got to a point now when I can say that its over for them. Its been an exciting ride sometimes, sad, happy, touching, aggravating, but all things must at some point come to an end.
I will be keeping the servers, yes I have 2 now, but these games in this form will not be a part of any future plans I may have. I gave it a try and it didn’t work out as I had expected. I’ve learnt a lot though over the years which will help me in my future projects, which I can now concentrate on.
So enjoy your last 2 and a half months or so, I’ve made some friends, some enemies and learnt a lot about myself over the last 6 years and its time to move onto something else.
Thank you for supporting me those 6 years.

It’s sad to see. I think there are still some great games out there that are not FB games. Would you be selling off KOR or leasing out KOR until you use it again? Let me know.
Also I was just starting in on the game but have had fun and met a great amount of people since then. Many wonderful and a few bothersome but still a joy to have experienced.

I won’t be selling it because I haven’t finished with it yet as a brand. I don’t know yet how it will fit what I am working on, but for me to get the social-pie stuff done I need to strip everything else away. Social-pie is a big exciting project, bigger than I can talk about, but with my 100% attention it will be here faster. One thing KoR has taught me is that the social is more important to most than the game itself, but the social has to be part of the games.

I am too very sad to see this game go, I too have made a lot of friends here at my home away from home. I have had a whole bunch of fun here through all the years I was blessed to play. Hm. Here I was just starting to get my money back and levelling up and stuff, and there you go shutting the whole thing down… It’s sad when things end. At the same time I wish you all good things with your pie project

I’ve spent the last 2 years keeping things going, its been hard, and the numbers of people playing have fallen and fallen. I have some screenshots from just 2 years ago and we had 30 people online in an hour, now we’re lucky to get 10. We once had 100′s. It was not working out. I thought if I increased the games and added updates and promoted that stuff around it would help. It didn’t. Although a few loyal supporters have stuck around, its just not going anywhere.
Its not over, the supporters of zeroshadow will be remembered in social-pie. The good thing is I now have an idea how things can go wrong, and what is needed to keep people around more, I think
There are a lot of cool ideas behind the social-pie thing, and hopefully it will work out.
I will though most probably be moving onto other things in the next 3 or 4 years if they don’t work out as I to be honest need to think about my retirement, 20years of work or more left in me.
